Take a tour of our hospital, read about some interesting cases and much more...We are more than a hospitalStaffed by four senior Veterinarians, a Practice Manager, five Nurses, two Receptionists plus ancillary staff, the complex also has five animal wards - separate dog and cat wards, intensive care, isolation and plush accommodation for special boarders. Designed by award winning architect, Gerald Melling, wards have glazed skylights so our guests can enjoy as much sunlight as possible.We use technologyThe Hospital is fully computerised with a laboratory on site. With up to date radiology facilities, X-rays are processed in under a minute. Fully equipped surgical and dental suites use the latest monitoring equipment, along with the safest (as used for humans) anaesthetic techniques. We use ECG and ultrasonography to enhance our diagnostic abilities. We have, and will continue to, invest heavily in the best available equipment that is rigorously maintained; ensuring your pets’ and our staff’s best interests are cared for.We think holisticallyComplementing our sophisticated equipment and facilities we are one of the few practices in New Zealand offering acupuncture for dogs. We do not compromise on the level of care we give to our patients - all receive the care we wish for and give to our own, and our families’ pets.We love familyBeing one of Wellington’s longest established practices, it is a source of much pleasure to be caring for our third generation of pet owners. We are not so large that we don’t know who our clients are - they and their families are very important to us all.
